Spending my Friday and Saturday working, then its off to see the “Lion King” in NYC on Sunday. If time permits, might stop by a friends Super Bowl party after the show
For the 1st time in a while, I rally do not care that much about the Super Bowl. Don’t really care who wins, but I have a few friends who live in Pittsburgh fans, so I guess I am leaning towards the Steelers
Just finished reading “Think of a Number” by John Verdon. Really enjoyed reading this book. Probably the fastest I have read a book in a long time. Could not put it down. Highly recommended. Now I need something new to read. Maybe the new Dean Koontz book, or one of John Grisham’s latest.
Back to work tomorrow after a week of training. Was nice to get out of the office and learn some new and interesting things.
Will try to write more often
Here are some photos taken with my Blackberry. Used both the Color and Black and White settings
Will try and post some more after the next storm

Out picking up Chinese food at Mei Mei’s for tonight. Plan on having a nice relaxing evening at home with the family
Put my application for The Amazing Race in the mail this morning. Hopefully 2011 will be a lucky year.
Wishing all you out there a happy and safe New Year and all the best in 2011
Had the day off from work. Went for a run this morning (it was really cold when I started, but warmed up and wasn’t that bad).
Spent some time straightening up around the house, organizing all the Christmas stuff that seems to pile up.
Off to grab some lunch, and maybe get in a little shopping
Hope everybody out there is enjoying their Holiday season. Less than 2 weeks until Santa arrives
The Lehigh Mountain Hawks 2010 Football season has come to an end with a 42 – 20 loss to the University of Delaware on Saturday. It was a great season for the Brown and White, advancing to the play-offs and even winning their 1st round game. Now its time to root for the Mens Basketball team as they try to repeat as Patriot League Champions and advance to the NCAA tournament.
AverageAndy will be posting his Survivor Application Video soon, so head on over to www.cbs.com and check it out.
Also only a handful of shows left in this season. I have really enjoyed the season (even with the 2 woman quitting, something Average Andy would never even think off)
Until next time…
Big win by the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks in the 1st round of the NCAA Bowl Subdivision (1-AA) Play-Offs. They went on the road and beat Northern Iowa 14 – 7 to move on and play the University of Delaware this week. Should be a good game. Lehigh may be a bit under matched, but I will be pulling for them to move on.
Was very exited to see the Survivor will again be doing a on-line video contest and award somebody (hopefully me) a chance to audition for the show. People can start uploading their Videos on December 7th. On or around the end of December, the people responsible for Survivor will then pick their 10 favorites. The people of America (and maybe the world) then get a change to vote on their favorite. The Winner is then off to California for a change to meet the producers and possibly a spot on the show.
Look for AverageAndys video to be posted once they allow them. Hopefully I do a good job and the producers of Survivor, CBS or whoever is on the committee enjoys my video and I get picked for the top 10. Then is will be up to all you out there to vote for me, sending me on my way.
I have really enjoyed this season and am looking forward to the finale and see who is crowned this seasons Sole Survivor
Had a fun night out with friends the night before Thanksgiving. It’s a annual tradition going back over 15 years. Always a great time seeing people I haven’t seen in a while and catching up on the year gone by.
I have been running 5K on the weekend to try to get in better shape. Will be looking for some 5K races to enter in the new year. Also am still thinking about running the Tough Mudder race in PA in April.
Hope everybody enjoyed their Thanksgiving Holiday and best wishes as we move towards Christmas and the New Year
Spent Saturday as a volunteer at the Tough Mudder race at Raceway Park NJ. Was amazed at the number of people who showed up for the 12 mile run which included swimming, running through mud, as well as tires and electric wires. Volunteering was lots of fun and got to work with some very nice people.
After the race there was music and a bonfire to get everybody warmed up
Next race in the NY area is in April 2011 near Allentown PA. Maybe Average Andy will be running this time

Finally went for a short (5K) run on Sunday and then spent the rest of the day raking the last of the leave that continue to cover my lawn.
A few more days until the Thanksgiving Holiday. Looking forward to a festive diner with the family.
Hope everybody enjoys their holiday.
Spent the day raking leaves. Lucky it was another beautiful Saturday

It was great watching Jeff Schroeder (of Big Brother and Amazing Race Fame) travel around the world for free with the help of the World Wide Web and people all over. To see all the placed he visited and the people he met was an amazing journey
If you have the time you should check out his trip on www.cbs.com/world
Here is the video wrap up of his trip
Maybe someday you will be seeing Average Andy visit some or all of the places.
