Spent Saturday as a volunteer at the Tough Mudder race at Raceway Park NJ. Was amazed at the number of people who showed up for the 12 mile run which included swimming, running through mud, as well as tires and electric wires. Volunteering was lots of fun and got to work with some very nice people.
After the race there was music and a bonfire to get everybody warmed up
Next race in the NY area is in April 2011 near Allentown PA. Maybe Average Andy will be running this time

Got home to see the Lehigh Mountain Hawks beat Lafayette in college footballs most played rivalry (146 games and counting). Lehigh now heads to the play-offs agains Northern Iowa next Saturday

Finally went for a short (5K) run on Sunday and then spent the rest of the day raking the last of the leave that continue to cover my lawn.
A few more days until the Thanksgiving Holiday. Looking forward to a festive diner with the family.

This will probably be the last tough mudder before they get shut down they were 2 students that stole the whole concept from the UK Tough Guy, they even went to the other event and said they wanted to help with marketing and stole photos and put them on the Tough Mudder site they are now in a lawsuit and will probably get shut down shame the states needs something like this.
