Johnny Tiersten, plus Random Videos and Pictures

Columbia High School Class of 1983 actor Johnny Tiersten passed away at the age of 60. Best known for his role as Ricky Thomas in the 1983 cult slasher film Sleepaway Camp. He is among a group of famous actors who graduated from Columbia High School, including Roy Scheider (JAWS), Elizabeth Shue (The Karate Kid), Ahmed Best (Star Wars), Zach Braff (Scrubs), and Andrew Shue (Melrose Place). Although I never really knew him, being in a movie made him a big deal at the time. He did go on to form a band and was the director of tennis for the township of Maplewood, New Jersey
