Thanks to the NY Mets for a great year.  It was one of the most enjoyable years in a long time, and the play-offs made October a month I will remember for a long time.  In the end the Kansas City Royals were the better team and deserved to win.   The Mets team had some great strengths with its young starting pitching,  but ultimately was not able to generate enough offence to win games.   They had their changes, and the last 2 losses will sting for a while, but hopefully they can use this as a learning experience and get back to the World Series next season and many more to come

Baseball is still the best sport, with all the twists and turn and emotional roller coaster ride each game can take.    I enjoyed watching the games,  texting with friends, and all the chatter on FaceBook.  It was awesome
