RIP Java Chip

Starbucks, The Seattle-based coffeehouse chain recently announced that some of its “less popular” beverages, including nine Frappuccino blended beverages, will be retired from its menus starting Tues, March 4.

New CEO Brian Niccol has rolled out changes he says will not only boost sales and prioritize customers, but will also help Starbucks get “back to Starbucks.”

One of the less popular drinks being retired is the Java Chip Frappuccino. This was one of my go-to drinks at Starbucks, especially in the summer. While there are still some Frappuccino drinks remaining on the menu, none of them can take the place of the JAVA Chip.
